The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed regarding the high range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office focused on service the area daily. The service level designed for intervention ordeals a higher influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to permit the servicing of all buyers and maximize usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency more info said.
